2009-2010 school supply list for Columbia Elementary

Kindergarten | First Grade | Second Grade | Third Grade | Fourth Grade | Fifth Grade

KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM SUPPLY LIST:

Each student should bring to class:
 
•  Backpack – to be carried to and from school for carrying extra clothing, projects, communication folders, etc.
•  Bag with change of clothing to be kept in the classroom, items labeled with child's name
 
 
The following supplies will be put into community tubs for sharing and do not need to be labeled:
 
•  2 large glue sticks
•  2 large diameter pencils
•  2 pocket folders (single color – no pictures please, for notes between school and home)
•  Prang watercolor paints (not Crayola!)
•  1 box Crayola washable fine-tip markers
•  1 box Crayola washable wide-tip or conical markers
•  1 colored stamp pad
•  1 box facial tissues, unscented
 
Optional:
 
Watercolor paper

You can purchase a full set of supplies at the Columbia School Store for $10 +tax. The store will open the week before school starts.

 

FIRST & SECOND GRADE CLASSROOM SUPPLY LIST:

Each student should bring to class:
 
•  2 Pink Pearl erasers
•  24 #2 pencils, sharpened please
•  1 set of Crayola washable conical-tip markers
•  6-8 glue sticks
•  1 box of facial tissue, unscented please
•  2 black vis-à-vis pens
•  1 small pencil sharpener
•  1 box of crayons
•  1 folder with pockets
•  1 set of colored pencils
 
•  1 pencil box
•  2 boxes non-perishable snacks, each to feed 24 students
•  a backpack, to bring to school each day!
 
Optional:
 

•  Hand sanitizer

You can purchase a full set of supplies (does not include the last 3 items) at the Columbia School Store for $11+tax. The store will open the week before school starts.

SECOND GRADE CLASSROOM SUPPLY LIST:

 

Each student should bring to class:
 
•  24 #2 pencils, sharpened
•  6 glue sticks
•  1 box facial tissues, unscented
•  1 box of crayons (small, must fit in pencil box)
•  4 pocket folders (pockets on bottom)
•  washable fine-tip markers or colored pencils
•  2 Pink Pearl large erasers
 
•  pencil box
•  backpack
•  2 boxes non perishable snacks, each to feed 24 students
 
Optional:
•  Hand sanitizer

THIRD GRADE CLASSROOM SUPPLY LIST:

Each student should bring to class:
 
•  1 box crayons
•  3 glue sticks
•  1 Pink Pearl eraser
•  1 pkg. notebook paper -- WIDE ruled only, about 50-100 sheets
•  2 WIDE ruled spiral notebooks, label with name
•  l box facial tissues, unscented
•  1 folder with pockets (label with name)
•  2 dozen #2 pencils (sharpened please)
•  2 composition books, 100 sheets wide ruled (label with name)
•  set of colored pencils
 
•  1 pencil box or zip pouch
•  backpack
 
Optional:

FOURTH & FIFTH GRADE CLASSROOM SUPPLY LIST:

Each student should bring to class:
 
•  2 pocket folders
•  1 composition book
•  1 three ring binder, 1.5 inch size
•  250 sheets wide ruled notebook paper
•  1 package of five subject dividers
•  2 spiral notebooks with wide ruled paper
•  zippered bag for pencils & erasers
•  1 box facial tissues, unscented
•  24 #2 pencils, sharpened
•  1 box colored pencils
•  1 black Sharpie pen
 
•  Backpack
 
Optional items:
•  crayons (24 count)
•  Pink Pearl eraser
•  markers
